Ֆիլմի սցենարը․

Գվիդո անունով մի երիտասարդ տղա գյուղից գալիս է մի մեծ քաղաք: Այնտեղ նա հանդիպում է Դորային,  ով ուսուցիչ էր: Նրանք սիրահարվում են միմյանց և ամուսնանում են: Շուտով նրանք որդի են ունենում, բացում են իրենց գրախանութը և ապրում էին շատ երջանիկ ու ուրախ: Սակայն մի օր գալիս են նացիստները և Իտալիայում բնակվող հրեաներին, որոնց մեջ մտնում են նաև Գվիդոնը և իր որդին տանում են ճամբար, որտեղ նրանց առավոտից գիշեր աշխատացնում էին և չնչին ուտելիք էին տալիս դրա դիմաց։ Դոան իմանալով, որ իր որդուն և ամուսնուն տանում են պահանջում է, որ իրեն ևս տանեն։ Գվիդոնը իր երեխային դաժան իրականությունից պաշտպանելու համար, ասում է նրան, որ այն ամենը, ինչ տեղի է ունենում, պարզապես խաղ է, հաղթողը կստանա իրական տանկ, բայց այն շահելու համար հարկավոր է պահպանել որոշակի կանոններ։ Որդին շատ ոգևորված էր և ամեն օր ուրախացած հարցնում էր հորը թէ քանի միավոր են արդեն հավաքել։ Սակայն պատմությունն ուրախ չի վերջանում, Գվիդոնը ցանկանում էր տեսնել Դորային և այդ պատճառով հագնում է կանացի շորեր և գնում է կանանց մոտ, սակայն նրան տեսնում են և գնդակահարում են։ Այդ օրերին արդեն բոլորը դուս էին գալիս ճամբարից և երբ այլևս ոչ ոք չկար ճամբար տանկ է մտնում, Գվիդոնը որդուն թաքցրել էր մի տեղ և ասել դուրս չգա այնքան ժամանակ մինչև այդտեղ ընդհանրապես մարդ չլինի։ Երբ երեխան տեսավ տանկը ուրախացավ և մտաշեց, որ հաղթել են և տանկի վարորդը տղային վեձրեց իր հետ, տղան երջանկ էր, ճանապարհին նա տեսավ իր մորը, իջավ տանկից, գրկեց մորը և մայրիկին ասաց, որ իրենք հաղթել են։

Տպավորություններս և կարծիքս․

Ես ֆիլմը շատ հավանեցի և բոլորին խորհուրդ եմ տալիս այն դիտել։ Ֆիլմը շատ բան է սովորեցնում, բայց ամենակարևոր բանը, որ սովորեցրեց, դա ծնողի սերն է։ Այս ֆիլմի գլխավոր հերոսը՝ Գվիդոնը, սովորեցնում էր, որ ծնողը նույնիսկ ամեենավատ իրավիճակում փորձում է այնպես անի, որ դու չտխրես, չհուսահատվես։
